Excellent location with basic, no frills rooms. Rooms are very Dated but comfortable. Elvia works hard keeping rooms clean daily. Our AC and water pressure were great unlike some reviews we had read. No English channels but if no rainy days doesn’t matter. Pool is small kept clean and very pretty gardens. No noise issues. All staff was friendly and helpful. Some drawers for clothes or a shelf would be helpful for longer stays like ours. We will return to this location!

This small boutique hotel is so sweet. The grounds in the courtyard around the small backyard-style pool are so pretty with all the flowering trees. The exterior patios on each room are large and with nice wooden furniture and hammock. The inside of the rooms are very dark and plain, but this is not a resort - it's just a small quirky, legit Mexican hotel. Check in was a bit long, but I would definitely go back, and recommend, this hotel in a heartbeat. The location on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is absolutely unbeatable...and the nearby restaurants are amazing!

Great location on one of the most beautiful beaches of the world - North Beach on Isla Mujeres. Cabanas Marias is NOT a 5-star, all inclusive resort if that is your kind of thing. However, Cabanas Maria's Nel Norte IS a very relaxing, clean, comfortable and affordable option with a great location. We come back every year and are never disappointed.

This hotel is lovely older hotel right on the North Beach. Not super fancy….but so nice to b so close to the amazing North Beach. Has a real Mexican Caribbean feel. Beautiful gardens too. Service wasn’t perfect but was responsive. If you are looking for just a chill place to relax at a reasonable price, this is a great place
