"The room we had was nicely decorated with a lovely comfortable big bed and a wonderful seaview. Check in was easy and we were able to buy a parking permit. (As it was a weekend it was initially quite difficult to find a parking space - this was the only drawback) All the staff were polite and friendly particularly the lovely waitress who served us in the restaurant. Good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. All in all a great experience and would certainly visit again."

"Staff are extremely friendly and efficient always helpful if you have a problem. We booked a cosy room which is clean and has all you need for a night’s stay. Breakfast is buffet and there are also freshly cooked choices too included with your breakfast package. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough bread - eggs cooked just how I like them! Staff were very attentive making sure you had tea and coffee not long after you sat down and taking any orders. The same can be said for the staff in the bar when we had tea and scones early afternoon and also again late evening with a cocktail. The only downside of this hotel is the parking. There are 12 dedicated spaces in front of the hotel which are filled very early by 11am according to the staff! The rest is paid for parking permits but there is no guarantee you will get a space. Last year when we stayed at the hotel, one road on the side of the hotel was still free of permits but this year this road has also been allocated permit parking. This is obviously not the hotel’s fault but does make it more difficult to find a space and of course there is the additional cost. But despite that we had a great stay."

"Excellent customer service the rooms were very clean the only let down was the breakfast poor quality napkins also fruit and continental breakfast was very poor the English breakfast was good quality and plentiful they just have to up the other options as for the star establishment it lets it down"
