"We loved Charming Homestay in Hoi An. The owner and hostess Nhi, is a true gift to travelers. Among the many, many helpful things she did for us: She arranged for car transfer from the airport to Hoi An, which was very reasonably priced. She went out of her way to help us get the most out of our few days there, recommending various activities, restaurants, even a fantastic cirque du soleil inspired show with music, dance and acrobatics which was great!

"The owners (Yuen and Lim) are wonderful, they really went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay with them. The room was quite large and comfortable, breakfast was tasty and filling, we had pancakes made by Lim and the pool was great for a dip in the hot and humid weather. It was relaxing and stress free. It's a little gem hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An. I highly recommend staying there and great value."

Very relaxing surroundings overlooking the herb fields of Tra Que Vegetable village, irrigatio lakes and the river.
It was quite remote but an enjoyable walk to Hoi An taking in all the sights and sounds with a cheap quick taxi ride home away from all the hussle an bussle and a 15 min walk to the beach.
Bike are available if you do not want to walk but I think walking is...
"The staff were fabulous especially Twee, she was so helpful and capable. We stayed in the family room which was great , slept so well. The pool area was lovely and the shuttle into town very practical.

"Excellent staff, buffet, and spa. The hotel is a opened hotel and the mosquitoes were a problem."
"A lovely little boutique hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good as far as hotel food goes, and the service was always quick and with a smile. The room was very clean and absolutely huge. The breakfast was probably the best I had on my trip, with fantastic barista coffee made every morning. Spa was also an absolute treat - incredible value for money and one of the nicest spa treatments I've ever had.
Only slight negatives were the location, which was not easy to walk anywhere. Made up for with the free shuttle to and from the old town. Noise level was also quite loud as any sound from the hotel (dining entertainment, kids running around) carried straight up into the rooms due to the hotel design. As someone who lives in the city, it never impacted my sleep but if you're a light sleeper, it might be worth bringing ear plugs. "

"Highly recommend Moodhoian as a retreat away from the busy old town of Hoi an. Rooms were large and with great air con. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a good selection of food. The pool was a refreshing treat after a long hot day- very clean.
