Wensinghouse is conveniently located off a quiet alley steps away from the hustle and bustle of Jiufen Old Street. It is a little hard to find, so it's best to contact the owner before arriving. The property itself was well-managed by the owner - spick and span with a nice common dining area that you can use to enjoy delicious takeaway dinner (or supper) if the restaurants get too crowded. Large comfy rooms with great shower! Staff friendly. Hotel is undergoing renovation, so hotel looks slightly tired on the outside; but all rooms are new inside. Will be lovely when finished.

Simple chic friendly style and environment overall great only types of snacks can be improved

Good hotel in the suburbs of Taipei. The area is not touristic but if you want to see the real Taiwan is a nice place to stay. Metro station is just 2min away and you find plenty of places to eat. The hotel is super clean, rooms are very good size and bed is comfortable. The area is very quiet so you will have a good sleep. The staff of polite and ok. Taking the metro will take you very quick to the main attractions

Great location, nice room, subtle air-con, competitive price, friendly staff and 24-hour laundry facilities... perfect. It would be nice if they served breakfast - but there are LOADS of places just outside the door. Shandao Temple Station is really close (blue) as well as Zhongshan (red/gree).

Lovely place in Yangmingshan National Park. Out of the city but close to it. I was staying alone but cabin would comfortably fit whole family. I liked hot springs baths.
