"Always enjoy staying here. Splendid room, spacious and comfortable. Building itself is historic. Breakfast was very good and worth having, not least for the magnificence of the surroundings. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. "

The food was hot, tasty, good portions and very reasonable. A 3 course meal with a drink for 2 in the hotel restaurant came in at under £60.
