"The Richardson is a unique hotel as it is one of HH Richardsons architectural masterpieces that was fortunately saved from the wrecking ball and is gradually being restored for various uses, the Hotel being the first of those. It is luxury priced but you are really paying to live in a piece of history. The breakfast is a simple continental, and the restaurant that used to be in the building is closed, but plenty of dining & shopping options are steps away in Elmwood. The decor with all of the historical photos plus the architectural museum on the lower level is excellent. A place you need to stay in at least once. We normally stay at my cousin’s but since we weren’t able to on this trip, we chose the Richardson."
"The staff at this hotel were amazing! It's a clean, comfortable property that was near the site of the event we came to Buffalo for. Great free breakfast too. "
"This inn was beautiful! So many beautiful rooms and the basement billiard room was amazing. The owner was so kind and greeted us warmly. It was close to Buffalo State where we dropped our daughter off and was close to shopping and dining options. "
