This is a great guest house. Central, cosy, reasonably-priced, informal, quirky, has a great cafe downstairs and lots of lovely plants and lamps. The name and overall theming make this a pleasurable stay. The shower is fantastic.

Superior King Room with Sea View was fantastic. Lovely big room with a great view of the sea. There was even a desk fan in the cupboard for us as it was so hot which was helpful. Both a bath and shower were there as well. Couldn't ask for more, worth the price!

Excellent value for money. Lovely location in Kemptown. Clean room (with plenty tea and coffee - a rarity these days). Minor complaint (but really minor, given the positives) is that the reception is mostly unstaffed and the phone number not always answered. Would def stay again.

Loved it here . Spotlessly clean . The cleaners do a fantastic job . The staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble ,
The beds were very comfortable . The breakfast was amazing and well organised with the covid. I would give this place 10 out of 10 . If I come back I will definitely stay here again .

It was great value. I stayed on the night before catching a ferry and this was the perfect location. I called beforehand with a query and they answered very quickly.
Check in was easy. They took me to the room to make sure I get there. Drinking water was available. Good kitchen and communal areas.
It was a very pleasant stay

Stayed for one night to use as a base to go to football at Brighton. Ten minute walk to the railway station and then a short journey to Falmer which is right next to the stadium

I was disappointed that there was no food available in the evening, it meant a 10 minute walk in torrential rain to get to the beefeater restaurant across the bridge. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I stayed in the Hilton Arundel for Goodwood last year and have to say that the Confort Inn was a lot better. Just missed the food aspect.

The location is wonderful, 3 min walk to the beach and right next to the coach station. The bathroom is pretty large and nice. Well worth of its price.

We stayed in a suite as we have 2 children- absolutely perfect. Luxurious really, lots of space. Breakfast great, pool good enough (roll on summer and the outdoor pool!) Staff were non intrusive and accommodating, and some grandeur to the building - in need of a bit of repair in places, but frankly this was irrelivent. Such a lovely place to stay and we would go back again and again.

This was my first solo trip away so I was hoping everything would be smooth and stress free, which it was. The hotel is faceless (didn’t see any staff on site) and keyless meaning you check yourself in with a code and email them when you check out, to be honest suited me and no issues. I was very impressed with the room as a whole (Room 3, double with partial sea view). It wasn’t the cleanest but I was prepared for that due to viewing previous reviews, nothing terrible and as I was there for one...

Alex was a wonderful host. He welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable. Our room was updated and very clean. The place is out in the country with pastures around it. It is very peaceful, but you do have the sound of airplanes as it is near Gadwick Airport
