"This was my favorite place to stay out of 4 of my 9 day long trip. It was beautiful, peaceful and the staff was friendly, helpful and they all seemed to love their jobs. We felt very at home but yet they treated us like royalty. The breakfast was amazing and the chef even came out and talked to us!! Will we go back, YES!!"

"The room was old and the sink was broken the toilet tissues was used 3 pillows on a king bed door was broken . Look like it got bust open . Smh the room was way inthe back and it wasn't a good stay staff threw the coffe cream i asked for. Horrible. Rude and on his phone the whole time. It was supposed to be a smoke free room. "An elegant old house tastefully redeveloped, with large, comfortable and stylish rooms. Great location close to breweries, wineries and hiking and not far from Charlottesville. So, mostly good but the administrative and customer-service side could be better. We weren't sent the code for the front door and another couple we met weren't sent the code for their room. I received the checkout instructions after having already left the property. "
