"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate)
The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "

"Comfort hotel is always the best no frill hotel available to when visit Japan. It doesn’t have a lot of bell and whistle like other hotel, but it always have reasonable size room and hearty and healthy breakfast to keep you going when travelling around Japan."

"Greatly enjoyed staying in Tsuruga, for affordable hotel at Select Inn. I got just what I expected with walkable location to all the malls, landmarks, and best thing was that it was right by the river for jogging and exercise. Thanks "

"Needed to stay here because of work. Even with the air-conditioning set to 19 for the entire night, the lowest the room temperature got was 27. It was difficult to sleep and the hotel staff were quite rude. I don't recommend going here unless you absolutely have to"

"Staff don’t speak English bathroom only on the first floor we were staying at the 4th and no dinner and no breakfast available. Good for a step only one night before Kyoto. "

"Everything was exceptional. Did not use the communal spa because we had a private spa in the room with a beautiful view of the lake. Hotel had a shuttle to the train station."
"We had a fantastic stay in a spacious and spotless room that offered unforgettable panoramic views of the Tokyo skyline. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with an incredible variety of high-quality Western and Japanese options. Best of all, the hotel's central location near Shinjuku Station made exploring the city effortless."

"Beautiful hotel, superb service, inner atrium of green (also adjacent to a park/lake). Very accommodating in storing my bike. Would have loved to stay longer but was only one night."
"The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. 20 seconds from the hotel you can walk the paths along the lake and it is beautiful. Two stops away from Kyoto station. "
