Having a private bath in the patio was great. Staff was courteous and friendly, the food was excellent, and having three different open air hot spring was a plus. Ideal for solo travelers.

Though I only stayed there for one day, the trip was very pleasant! Several of the employees speak perfect English, they were very accommodating and very helpful. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious, the breakfast being a buffet that had very many options in case you are a picky eater. Both of the private onsens were also very nice

We stayed in a Kotone room with private bath. Spacious and comfortable with separate seating area. The hotel is very beautiful and exceptionally clean. Staff were very attentive and helpful despite our language differences. Breakfast buffet is extensive and of high quality. Keiseke dinner was a 9 course adventure- excellent service and delicious food. Some culinary culture differences but a true Japanese experience. Yumotokan will always be a highlight memory of our time in Japan.

Room is clean and tidy. Both breakfast and dinner are superb. Staff service is excellent. The outdoor onsen on 5/F is great. Worth to go for the “reed” room which allowed access to the VIP lounge.
