"I stayed with my elderly parents at the crown Hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and the rooms were clean however unfortunately when leaving there was an attempt to charge me a payment that wasn’t due. I query this as a mistake had obviously been made and I was met with a sullen response from the receptionist who was borderline directly rude. I will never stay at this hotel again. I would not recommend it."

"This room was so much better than we expected from a bar hotel. The room was spotless, recently upgraded and modernized, and had tons of choices for coffee and tea. The staff was very nice and friendly. Parking was easy and very close to the door. We would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"Our room was large and spacious with a very comfortable bed. It was clean and also had 2 x easy chairs. The ensuite was was also sizeable. With a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. WiFi reception was good. Range of cooked breakfast was good and the food was excellent. Continental breakfast items were also available. Staff were friendly. Parking was easy. We would stay again."
