The property was close to the Colosseum and there were several dining options near by. They even provided snacks and bottled water for us upon arrival. It was a nice touch. "Our 4 night stay at Palazzo Velabro was wonderful! Our room was spacious and had a large balcony that over looked a garden and faced the Palatine Hill. The location is fantastic as the property is located within pretty close walking distance to several historical sites including Circus Maximus, the Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. We also had no problem walking up to the Pantheon or Baths of Caracalla. The Tiber River is right across the street as is the bridge to Trastavere....

"Amazing location! Wonderful food and nightclubs within easy walk. Around the block from the Colosseum. Place is good sized, easy to access with codes, Incredibly clean. Bathroom is good as long as not handicapped as it is a tall tub. "

"Really impressed with the hotel. 30 minute walk to the centre and close to a station to the airport. Also has restaurants nearby. Balconies are huge, and the bathroom was modern and clean. The only possible downside I could think of is that the bottom sheet was kinda grubby. And that's me really trying to find any fault! Overall, I'd highly recommend "

"Excellent hotel right in the heart of the historic district of Rome. There are only four rooms in this establishment, contained in an area of a centuries old building. The owner was there to greet us and give us a tour of the facility. She also provided advice for visiting the surrounding area. The room itself was clean and updated. You are within walking distance to all tourist attractions. Highly recommend recommended."

"Close to Coloseum, AC was great. Kitchenette nice - lighter didn’t work to light stove, so we ended up not using it. Shower really small but nice. Plenty of hot water. Cool,old building. Shuttle from airport and to port was great extra that we paid for."
