"Nice comfy place to stay. Expedia claimed its price included all tax and fees, but no it did not. And why all the coffee at the coffee maker was decaf was beyond our understandingโฆ but overall, we liked it."

"Some minor issues in the room; weird ceiling fan going on by itself unexpectedly, carpet with some odd small stains, blinds up high on a window unable to be reached to be closed, lighting fairly dim even with all lights on. Food was decent, nothing fabulous. Even for a rustic setting indoor lighting was fairly dim in main lodge eating area. Knew this going in (albeit kind of after the fact); road to get into property was not great and would have been a tad scary had we or any guests arrived after dark. Overall; excellent location between the two parks and nice piece of property, but probably could use an infusion of cash again to revitalize it. Not many choices to be in a similar location but price was too high given all that was previously stated. Doubtful that my wife and I would stay here again, but that's not to say it was a negative experience"

"Loved our stay there. The staff are super kind and lovely- the highlight of the trip. This is a cute roadside inn and cafe. The rooms are small and comfortable. The cafe is very cute. Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Iโm disabled and when I arrived at the hotel, my room was on the second floor, but they accommodated me by putting me on the first floor and some other helpful situations. I was very grateful."

"Gateway has a warm, cozy atmosphere with clean rooms. The restaurant has a show stopper on the deck, a must see view. Boulders, waterfall, mountains and a few ducks make it a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff at the Gateway welcome you like family. Absolutely one of the best staff members is Ruth!!! She goes above and beyond. Thank you for making our stay memorable!"
