"My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. "I always stay here when I come to Auckland. Rooms are always clean, staff are very friendly. Would be nice to have some cutlery and a toaster in the room. However, when I did ask for plates and some cutlery, it was no issue at all and someone brought It to my room within 5mins. All that was needed was A toaster :) highly recommend this place"
