"Room was refurbished on the inside but the fit and finish was sub par - to the point where security was a concern for me. Most concerning was the flimsy thin ply patched over the main entrance door. The door between the lounge and bedroom wouldn’t shut due to bad fit / installation. Big gaps between the external sliding door and wall create drafts for wind and extra outside noise"

"The Lodge is charming and our room (the Gold room) was spacious. Lady who welcomed us in was delightful and very helpful. The whole place could do with a thorough deep clean though - the hot tub actually had piles of dirt in it."
