Great stay and exceptional view from 14th floor! N.B. You can access the city center by free ferry at about 10 min walk. Inside parking is NOT free (25 euro) and you have to book it beforehand. Outside parking is free, available and cheaper, but not free either. You can eat in the nearest shopfor 10-12 euros: buy a meal and heat it at place in the cafeteria microwave.

Good price and location, considering the high standard of the room. Only a short walk from ferry, and therefore Centraal Station. Overall, a great compromise between distance and cost.

Nice quiet area but a bit of a walk to the metro stop. Yet it's a safe area to walk. I walked at night and felt safe.

Good location, one stop on metro away from centre of city. Nice and quite during the night. Next to a large supermarket for incidental purchases. Breakfast area rather cramped. Seating and queuing for food was very congested.

Everything was pretty good in new hotel. However a few issues marred the experience. Namely our lift was out of order for half the stay which made breakfast and lift journey's take for ages. The other issue was the hotel cheaped out on the toilet paper with 1 ply sandpaper. We purchased proper tp from the supermarket nextdoor. Overall stay was good at a relatively good price comparatively. Just need to improve the guest experience.

Away from the noise of staying in central Amsterdam, the hotel is a short walk away from the F2 ferry crossing on the Northside. The Foodmarket grocery store is opposite and ideal for picking up evening snacks. Book a room with a view over the river IJ. Rooms were spotless when we can back after a day out. Plenty to eat at breakfast.

Very nice, big and clean rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good, hotel was busy but breakfast wasn’t overcrowded and staff was making sure there is enough of everything for everyone. Will stay again

I have no issue with the hotel itself- it was clean and breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only issue is the limited transportation options there were around the hotel, it was very difficult to get to other sights or parts of the city due to lack of transportation around the hotel.

The man that checked us in seemed to be in a great hurry. The ck in desk is in an open public room. I told him we had signed up with Expedia and he nodded not looking at me. I did not know what we were being charge until he passed me a machine wit a $800 bill to sign. I did not think that was the agreed upon amount. He had put us in the top floor which was not what we signed up for. I thought I would ck when we got home and we’re not so tired to see where the misinformation came from. I felt pressured and rushed. What information did Expedia give to the hotel? We were charged the agreed amount at candlewood. Can you let me know.

The hotel itself is very modern and clean. All staff is very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast they offer every morning It’s basic, but it does a trick, No complaints. I would definitely stay there again.

The elevator did not work so we were constantly waiting for the lift. Convenient locations to where we were traveling and the grocery store across the street had awesome pizza!
