"I was visiting the area and meeting up with old college friends. I got to Platte City and easily found Basswood Resort. I had a king bed/jacuzzi room (I did not use the jacuzzi). The room was much larger than I was expecting, but what blew me away was the fire pit / patio area right outside my door. I checked in and got a map of the place.
