"Beautifully situated in the Welsh hillsides with fantastic views and at the side of a waterfall this 230 year old coaching inn is modern in all requisites and is maintained in superb condition gaining 5/5 in hygiene standards. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home."
"Really like how close it is to the ocean, nice breakfast! However it can be challenging to find parking plus WiFi is a bit spotty on the top floor. Otherwise nice stay! "
"Overall nice hotel, above a bar which can be a bit noisy if you want an early night.
Only real complaint is there was a lot of loud door slamming in the morning on one day."
"The proximity to the promenade and shops was perfect. Parking was excellent, we parked for free for nearly three days. It was enjoyable to sit on the verandah and watch the world go by.
Reception staff and in the dining room were very polite and helpful. The dining room appeared to have been recently decorated and we both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts."

We always enjoy Aberystwyth with its variety of shops and people. The promenade is lovely with a flat walk of about a mile. Especially on a clear day, a trip up the Cliff Railway is to be recommended as the views from the top are lovely.

Charming town. Lots of spots to walk/hike and capture amazing views. Dog friendly everywhere. Don't miss a trip to The Hut on South Beach for coffee and ice cream... including for your dog!

We saw the starling murmuration and it was spectacular. Our favourite place was libertines cocktail bar. What a delightful visit. We also had lovely food at the white horse. The beach was great for the dog and everything was in walking distance

Its a small seaside town facing the Irish Sea. Obviously off season this can be windy. On the other hand it was snowing 15 miles inland when we visited.
