"A lovely hotel in a great location with tasteful, modern decor and an extremely comfortable bed. Particularly liked it as it was so quiet. Many hotels state that they are soundproofed but actually dont appear to be. The Mercure Bankside was certainly peaceful and relaxing. Dog friendly too for a charge of £15 daily. Very pleasant and helpful staff from start to finish. Glass bottle included in the room to fill up from drinking water point on the hotel landing. Thought this was a great idea as it offered water as required and no plastic waste. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."
