The only reason I stayed once I saw the room is it was late on a long weekend and the room passed a quick bed bug inspection.
Every time you flushed the toilet you had to take the tank lid off and adjust the chain so it would eventually stop running. The sink tap was difficult to find just the perfect spot that was the off position. Tub should have been replaced long ago. Towels would be considered old rags by most people. Carpets extremely well used. Paint was old, cracked and stained. The window a/c unit was barely attached and could easily be pushed in, the plastic piece beside it was so loose you could fit your hand through it. No thermostat in the room, electric baseboard heaters but no heat.
Unmatched furniture half hazardly grouped in the middle of one wall in front of a big wall mounted mirror. It was just plain tacky.
In 50 years of extensive travel the only room I have stayed in that was worse was in Needles, California.
If it had been easy to get another place on such a busy weekend I would have left but since it passed the bedbug test I toughed it out but I left my luggage in the car and only brought in essentials for both security and health reasons.
I also had a reservation for the June 16th weekend but have now cancelled - I will never go back, for any reason.

Overall, the room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The host called me to see when I was going to arrive so she would be there. On the downside though, I had to move a very large cabinet out from the wall to plug in the TV after trying to diagnose the problem. Very large gap under the door that allows sound to travel. I stuffed towels to seal which helped a little. No coffee maker. Compared to most other motels, very modest accomodation however it is a lttle less expensive than most others as well. Left feeling that the accomodations were ok but not fantastic.
We stayed here twice and were very satisfied with the service and accommodations both times. The staff was very helpful and quickly got us some extra pillows that we asked for. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room which was better than expected for a 2 star hotel. We could save our left-overs from restaurants and eat them the next day. There were also lots of restaurants in the area which was convenient.

The room was old. Disgusting it smelt the bathtub was rusty. The TV set was probably 25 years old didn’t work. There was no coffee pot. There was no support at the front desk. The bedding was old and stained. The bed was lumpy. The carpet was dirty I would never ever recommend this place to anyone, the curtains and the blinds had holes in them so the lights would come through. There was no privacy.

it is very dirty, and the painting is peeling , and the door is old, and the color is fade away, and the sheet has more than hair, and the blanket has white mucus, There is no breakfast, and no coffee, no hot water, the fridge is leaking water.

Thank you for your feedback. We do apologize though we have expected this kind of review from the guest; since she has been expressing her disappointment right before she checked in as she expected a breakfast to be included. However, it is clearly mentioned in our listing's page that we dont provide breakfast. Unfortunately, we were unable to verify whose couple strands of hair were those, as the bed has already been touched or used when showed to us. There was no white mucus in the blanket as it was newly washed. It could have been a stain caused by bleach and other disinfecting chemicals during laundry and might have been overloooked by housekeeper. Guest only mentioned about the hair when she was moved to another room, the rest of the issues were not addressed to us during her stay, otherwise, we could have done something. Please know that our rate could only provide for basic amenities, but we do not compromise the cleanliness. We find it strange that though she said people call her a "princess", she did not opt to book in a five star hotel instead. Rest assured, we will keep an eye on these issues. Thank you.

Thanks for your feedback. We do apologize for not being able to meet your expectation, however, all amenities provided in the room are working. We never had a single issue with the water pressure in the past, but we will take note of this and check it out. The basic amenities we provide is just proper with the cheap rate we offer. Unfortunately, we are not able to rent out the room after the guest left due to the strong smell of cigarette inside the room despite the fact that it is a non-smoking room. Considering the numerous notices of "no-smoking" posted in front desk and in the keycard case, it is quite frustrating to learn that this notice has been ignored.

This hotel is very seedy. There were holes in the walls, the water took ten minutes to warm up, and still didn't get very warm. It is also right behind a bar that is very noisy. The bar closes at random times. The first night I was there they closed at 10. Then the remaining nights I was there I couldn't sleep until after 1 in the morning because of the noise. The staff never cleaned my room during my stay and I felt unsafe stepping outside my room at night. Since I am a smoker and they do not have smoking rooms, having to step outside after dark was very bad. The hotel was so bad that I left two days early. I would like a refund for the two nights that I did not use.

We wish to remind you that prior to this, you have already asked our staff if you can get a refund in the event that you wish to go home early, though you are not sure yet and undecided. The staff even asked you if you have issue with the room, you said nothing, you just want to go home early. Otherwise, we could have moved you to another room that you would be more comfortable with or somewhere further away from other guests so you could find a convenient smoking spot. Housekeeping service is upon request as most of the guests do not want their rooms to be accessed by staffs because of their valuables. Unfortunately, we do not have smoking room. We humbly believe that branding the hotel as so bad is inappropriate as we have reqular guests that keep coming back as well. At any rate, please accept our sincerest apologies. Thank you.
We came when most hotels were sold out or out of our price range. This hotel was available. Old. Smelled of mould. Bathroom had shower instructions duct taped to the shower wall.
Pub had karaoke going and it was audible until 1 am. Homeless tents in the neighbouring forest.
Staff were accommodating and friendly. Not wort what we paid. Blanket on bed was really old. And not updated for decades.

Thanks for your feedback. The shower instruction was posted for the convenient of those who do not know how to make the shower works. Unfortunately, we have no control with the outside noise, however, you have the option to request to be moved to another room further from the pub, have you only let us know your issue. Likewise, we also have no control with the tents outside the property as that area is not ours, and we believe it is owned by the city. Our blankets were newly purchased few weeks ago, however, as we bleach them for sanitation purposes, they dont look as good as new anymore. Have you communicated these issues during your stay, we could have something right away or move you to other room. Please accept our apologies. Thank you.
