This hotel is in the middle of the touristic area, and a short walk from the ferry, shopping mall, beach, and stores. It is also close to the ADO station. It is very safe. The hotel was clean and service was good. It can be loud at night depending on events at Parque los fundadores, but relatively quiet after 11pm. I would definitely stay here again.

I was very happy with my stay at Casa Melissa Hotel. I booked my stay without any expectations and I was satisfied at the end. It's literally close to everything. Right when you step out, everything is in front of you and all around. The ADO bus station is around the corner as well restaurants, pharmacy, 7/11, bank, Cozumel ferry. Like everything! The hotel itself is basic bu ct we got A/C, oceanview, hot water,leanliness

The property is conveniently located close to the Ado bus and the ferry however the area is very busy and noisy. You don’t hear the noise in your room but you will when you sit outside. The room had a coffee maker but no coffee. There wasn’t a microwave either and no ice machine. Staff was friendly and we would stay again.

We've been staying at Casa Melissa every year for about 5 years. Love it! VERY clean! Great staff. So close to the Cozumel Ferry station, bus station, and taxis, and a great walk on Quinta Avenida. Highly recommend!

A clean hotel and relatively quiet, considering it is close to the action. Steps from the beach and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you are driving, be prepared to find parking off-site and walking to this hotel. Also, you can't drive up to this hotel because of the pedestrian only streets; a 200-feet walk from the nearest drop-off spot. I would definitely stay here again.

Standard hotel room. Door on bathroom and front door didnt close well had to work them. Safe broken. Headboard constantly banged on wall had to prop with pillow. No place for wet bathing suits or towel. Would be nice to have a chair on balcony. The staff and housekeeping were very helpful

During check-in, we always ask our guests to go to reception to report any details, such as the door not closing properly. In the case of the safes, they are always kept open before check in, they are not broken, if you want to use them someone from the staff comes to tell you how to configure it and you can store your belongings.At room 203, where you stayed, there are two chairs, that can be used to sit at the balcony and enjoy the wonderful view of Parque Fundadores.We will keep working to improve our service and facilities.

Easy access to and from the ADO bus depot. It is next to the Cozumel ferry terminal. The Main Street shop and venders are no stop for km’s.

This is my second visit to this hotel. First of all I don't think they could find my reservation I made through Expedia....months ago but they got me a room. A junior suite so I believe I got a upgrade. This hotel is safe , clean & in a great location. Also a reasonable price. My only complaint is late at night a bunch of drunk girls were in the pool below my room and were too loud!. Staff should of told them to be quiet. I do think I would stay there again though because of all the positive things about it.

We travelled all night and arrived early to hotel. We weren't allowed early check-in even though room was vacant (we watched cleaners and they were done before noon)... coffee maker... no coffee... fridge not plugged in or working. No kleenex in room... beds hard. It was clean... location was great... close to ADO and ferry. Pretty basic. Great for an overnight stay.

Staff is super nice and helpful. Pool was a nice surprise. Fast internet. It can be loud on certain holiday days because of the bar proximity, but other days it was quiet after around 10pm. Rooms are cleaned every day and complimentary bottled water is given every day. It is super close to the beach and there is lifeguard post near it.

We stayed four days. The property sits next to the ferry terminal where a troupe of flying entertainers use a permanent pole to do an act. They have a pan flute and a drum that they use as part of their act. At first it was cool but after listening to it everyday every half hour from 10 am til till 10 pm it got to be too much. Its a permanent fixture so oceanside rooms will be subject to it. The staff politely say no to requests such as bottled water, change made for 500 pesos, toilet paper, towels, blankets you need to leave ID. Vendors accost you immediately coming out of the hotel and are relentless throughout your walks. Great location to get to the beach and very clean. I would stay again as long as the blue pole was gone. I get the blanket thing but maybe show a little more service representation through assisting with the small things.

Great Location
The hotel was a ideal location for our Chichen Itza tour meeting and allow us the enjoy the evening at Playa del Carmen. The room was larger and more spacious than expected. The only thing that I would change is to add a table and a couple of chairs; there is plenty of space.

1. We were told 3 days before we couldn't have our preferred location because it was occupied. That was untrue, that area wasn't available because the elevator didn't function. 2. We were not told that neither the elevator nor the TV worked. If we'd been told when I called in advance, we most certainly would have cancelled before a penalty occured. 3. When we arrived for a week Wednesday, we were told the elevator and the TV would be fixed by Saturday. Two more deceitful statements by "A". We enjoyed 3 stays there in the past. If they paid me $1,000 U. S. to stay again, I would refuse. I do not do business with people that deceive me. With bad knees and no elevator nor TV, the trip I saved for 6 months to have was AWFUL.

Como se le indicó en su momento, estábamos en el cambio de proveedor para poder brindarles servicio de wifi en las habitaciones. Desde su llegada estuvimos al pendiente de sus necesidades, y siempre dispuestos a hacer su estancia lo más confortable posible, brindando toallas extra, ganchos y demás amenidades requeridas.Nuestro elevador, al no se usado de manera correcta fue desconfigurado, sin embargo, fue reparado durante su estancia y desde el día sábado funcionó al 100%.La habitación que se les proporcionó correspondía al Studio Ocean View reservado, en caso de querer otra habitación como una Junior Suite se tuvo que reservar la categoría correcta desde un inicio.

We loved the location on the beach. Staff was very attentive for every little request. Only negative was no wifi in the rooms. You had to sit on a couch in the lobby. Definitely it was no fault of the facility but our lovely view of the ocean was marred by a huge pile of construction rubble between the hotel and the beach.
