“Mumbai Hotel”

The Taj Lands End is located in Bandra one of Mumbai's most westernised suburbs. The hotel is lovely with some great sea views. The food in the indian restaurant is excellent but at a price. The level of service is excellent the heated loo seats are great ! I would happily stay there again but it is a bit far from the city centre if you are there as a tourist. A great place to stay.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the stay at Taj Lands End - loved the split level foyer, polite & friendly doormen and reception staff, excellent breakfast - our deluxe room had an lovely view of the Arabian Sea - would certainly stay there again!

I have traveled to 40 countries and have stayed in backpacker hotels and 5 star resorts. This is the best I've ever stayed in. The service is AMAZING. The lobby is breath-taking. Bar staff are super-courteous and the buffet is superb. We booked a standard room and it was HUGE. The facilities are amazing and the hotel is in Bhandra - a peninsula north of the city centre. In Mumbai traffic, its an hour from Colaba. I'd stay there again if it wasn;t in Mumbai. A mad city! But then again, we were in India for one month and I'm from London...we needed a beach by then. So yes, Id stay again.

the room was very comfortable. had a problem with leak in bathroom pipe that did not get fixed and you could hear water runing in the next bedroo.Despite this I would definitely stay here again The restaurant staff were excellent and the food was superb-complimets to the chefs

“Excellent allrounder”

This really is an excellent hotel, given the very mixed bunch available in Mumbai. Good location as regards airport, not so good if you need to be down in South Mumbai. Plenty of nightlife about 15 mins from the hotel in Bandra and Juru Beach areas. The hotel is an oasis of calm compared to outside, which is OK but not really the place to take walks. Everything about the hotel is excellent, great Indian contemporary dining, great lobby area, rooms are well kept, bathrooms excellent, great smell around the hotel. Plenty of activity to keep you in the hotel. Forget the beach, non existent, pool area is good, too many crows hovering but views from hotel are towards the sea. I travel a lot and am not easily pleased but this one I come back to time and time again. You will not be dissapointed.

“Simply Stunning”

This hotel is the best hotel in Mumbai. Being a seasoned traveller to Mumbai I have stayed at many hotels both in downtown Mumbai (Colaba) and North Mumbai (Bandra) where The Taj Lands End is located. The distance between the two areas is about an hour in a taxi and offer very different experiences. Colaba gives a feel of rough and ready, chaotic Mumbai. Bandra is essentially the Bollywood area of Mumbai. The Taj Lands End is a first class hotel of ultimate relaxation, service and quality. From the moment you arrive til the moment you leave you will experience something which you will never forget.

“Great hotel for every occassion.”

Brilliant. Could not fault at all. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. I had a bad stomach upset prior to arrival at the hotel. The staff were extremely sympathetic and made me a special meal for dinner and breakfast without me asking for it. This was my second visit to this hotel. I was impressed the first time. Second time round I was over whelmed. I would recommend this hotel whole heartedly.

As one would expect, the Taj never fails to disappoint. Lovely sea facing room on the 17th floor. Amazing breakfast spread, will go the extra mile to get items not on the buffet as well. Superb service.
