Lovely quiet location.

Posted 12-Apr-2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room maintenance.
Location: Within a 10 minute walk of many London attractions eg Big Ben, London eye etc.
Convenient location but away from the crowds. Very informative receptionist. Lovely room with all the facilities you could need although a couple of faults, shower door didn't close properly so water escaping was rapidly making it's way to the carpeted bedroom, plug didn't work in sink so hubby struggled with hot water for shaving and in room fridge didn't work. Apart from that everything was perfect, quiet room, comfy bed with nice crisp white linens and big fluffy white towels.

Nice hotel in convenient spot

Posted 12-Apr-2014
Pros: Clean, attractive, polite staff.
Cons: Bathroom cleanliness a bit lacking - smelly sink drain clearly in need of bleaching.
Location: Handy for the open-deck Big Bus tour - stop just around the corner on York Road.
Pretty standard Novotel experience - as you would expect from this chain. No problems. Clean, standard room size (unlike many London budget hotels). Minor problem - smelly bathroom sink (needed a good bleaching).

Great location, and amazing view

I needed a hotel not too far from London Victoria station. We had amazing views of the gardens and church opposite, and also the Houses of Parliment across the river. Room was quiet and clean, no frills. Very good breakfast and. Really nice walk along the river to London Eye.

Just ok not special

Posted 22-Feb-2014
We stayed in this hotel with 2 young kids and paid extra on arrival for the executive room. The executive room promised movies and other extras. There was no movies available to watch at all, infancy the remote control did not work very well. We were promised extras and we thought that the water in the mini bar was included but was charged for the water as apparently on one is free per room per day? It's more like a no frills hotel , nothing special about it.
