“Excellent , well located hotel in London”

A short taxi ride form Waterloo staion, the Novotel on Lambeth Road exceeded our expectations both in quality and location. Arriving for three days in Lonodn, our main traet was aday at Hampton Court Flower Show. This hotel was well placed for a quick hop over the bridge to Westminster Pier and onto the boat which sailed up the Thames to Hampton court, calling at Kew ont he way. It was a splendid way to arrive at the Flower Show and we enjoyed it so much we made the same journey the following day to Kew to see the famous botanical gardens. Novotel is so easy to get to and from, all London's delights are either a short walkaway (Westminster, London Eye) or a reasonabel £5-8 taxi ride to Selfridges, Liberty. Across the road from the hotel is a beautiful stone church dating from who knows when, but it's old and beautiful. While we were there it hosted the wilderness garden week. It was sunny weather so a take away breakfast and a seat in this wilderness in the centre of London seemed an apporpiate thing to do, so we did and it was glorious. The ease of travel was one of the benefits we enjoyed, there are also plenty of taxis avaiable to take you anywhere and everywhere at a decent price, a great way to see the highlights of the surrounding area. We will be back , it is a discovered joy, one which I am tempted not to tell too many poeple about, howvere as it has over 300 odd rooms I think it is safe to assume there will alwasy be a chance of a bed for the night.

“Impressed, glad I choose it.”

Just back from a lovely two night stay at the Novotel Waterloo, although it should really be called the Novotel Lambeth. It sits right at Lambeth Bridge and overlooks the Lambeth Palace. A great location non the less and an easy walk to the London Eye and Westminster. We ate in the restaurant two nights in a row as it was very late when we got back from our sightseeing. Both the food and staff were wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless. I'd definitely stay here again!

“Great Weekend Getaway!”

We came to London for a weekend geatway and to see some of the sights. This hotel though not right in the heart of all the sights was only a 10 minute walk to Westminster Bridge and the London Eye. The room was clean and exactly as the pictures show. The only downfall that we had was that the room was very warm and needing to keep the window closed all day was not a help. However, with that said they are in the process of fitting all the rooms with A/C so that should help out. There was no street noise and you could hear Big Ben when it chimed. We choose this hotel based on its location and the reviews on here. We were not disappointed at all. The hotel is modern and has a very modern look and feel. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant however did have a light snack in the bar. It was delicious and the service was outstanding. We would higly recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to take a trip to London and be close to things without all the hassle and noise of being in the middle of it.

“A very good hotel”

I have always found my stays at this hotel very pleasant. Although the corridor outside my room had work being done to the airconditioning in the ceiling space this in no way interfered with our arrival or our sleep. In the morning we had to walk around some tubes but this was not a problem and the workmen could not have been more polite. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I will certainly continue to stay at this hotel.
