Booked two rooms, asked to be close but ended up on different floors (and inexplicably BOTH given disabled rooms even though we didn't ask for them)! Rooms were large, big TV, fridge, tea making facilities, plenty of toiletries, free WiFi with a very comfortable arge bed but a bit worn and one bedside light was completely broken. Staff were helpful and friendly, although we parked in the underground car-park (£25 a day) and needed to press a buzzer to be let in AND out and once when leaving waited a very long time before being let out! But location very good (close to O2 and Up The Creek comedy club) and we would return again.

Breakfast was fast and plentiful. The staff was efficient and friendly. The housekeepers were very helpful. The Novotel is within walking distance to Greenwich Park and the Cutty Sark. The DLR Station is behind the hotel. It’s handy to rail services and a short ride to Canary Wharf, where you can catch the Elizabeth Lune to Terminal 5.

Note - Hotel is next to Greenwich overground station. Greenwich north tube station and the O2 are a 50 minute walk. We stayed after a concert at the O2. All was great, lovely hotel. Only issue was the barman. We stopped at the hotel bar after the concert but the barman had a very strange attitude to serving anyone drinks. The lounge area and bar was not busy but at least 9 people came and went without being served a drink, unable to get any sense from the barman. After waiting a very long time and listening to the barman trying to explain, we went up to our room with just some snacks and a bottle of water. Other than the strange barman, all was excellent.

Overall great. Friendly staff, clean, secure, and convenient. What kept me from a 5 star is the room itself. There were no electric outlets next the beds for phone charging. Also, it was strange to have the toilet in a separate room from the sink, shower and bathtub.

Convenient to train station and Greenwich. Room was clean enough but wasn't ready at checkin. Shower didn't work (no water came out of the head) which is a NO NO for us. Staff fixed for 2nd day but I buy a room expecting to have washing facilities. If you stay check all the facilities before you need them.

On initial arrival we received a good greeting from reception. The person was very polite and informative about travel around O2 Arena. The room on first glance was a good size with large comfortable bed and large TV screen. Now for the bad bits which resulted in the low score. The toilet enamel on the inside of the toilet had worn away and on initial look it appeared to be not cleaned with human waste at the bottom. The shower connections were literally coming away from the wall. It took several attempts to turn on shower which required quite a bit of effort to move the lever. This must be the reason why it was barely fixed to the wall. It was a slide door, which you could not lock. There was only one usb charge point on one side of the bedside table, not sure why the two sides were not uniform. The bathroom seemed dated. I do not feel the room was worth the money for the one night we stayed.

All fine except service at bar very slow. Lovely man on at lunchtime but had to wait 5 mins for someone to appear at the bar in the evening. Reception staff very helpful. Room comfortable and I secured a aprking space by arriving before 2 so that was good. Don’t know if I would have done later. Being able to book parking and early check in would be better.

I stayed at this hotel in 2017 and enjoyed my stay. This visit was quite different. On arrival front of house staff customer service skills left a lot to be desired. Our room was ok but needs to be updated and housekeeping was mediocre, happening at odd times of the day. The worst experience was a male bar tender who appeared to be disinterested, and was surly and rude in his behaviour when I asked for a room service menu (and that was not the only time). My overall view is that this hotel is not up to the Novotel standard. A number of other properties (Holiday Inn Express) were better value, included breakfast and had staff that were friendly and welcoming.

This was my second stay here before starting a bus tour of Europe. I really liked the room layout. Our room had both bathtub and a shower, and a separate toilet room. Front desk employees are wonderful and helpful. We stored our luggage with them before check in time and explored Greenwich. I really like the location as well, right by public transportation, close to grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants, and walking distance to everything else. I can’t wait to come back again!

Very good location, excellent customer service from check in to check out. The cheapest and safest parking around the area. Room was clean, quality sleeping as great bedding and beds even from the sofa bed.Enjoyed the coffee from the coffee espresso machine and the free water . Will definitely come back.
