“Beautiful Hotel”
I would highly recommend this hotel.
“I will definitely use this hotel again”
The hotel and rooms were just perfect and in a excellent location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
“Fantastic Stay”
Stayed here for Wedding Anniversary in Studio room. Very large room, service was fantastic and could not fault the hotel at all.
“Modern with big rooms”
The hotel is very modern, the food is excellent, the rooms and the bathroom are spacious. When we entered the room everything looked perfect until we opened thr curtain. The room was 2m from the rails of the DLR.There is a station in front of the hotel. The room is vibrating when the train stopps and starts. We upgrated the rooms (for money) and enjoyed perfect rooms with view on the river.
“Good hotel and location”
The hotel is in a good location to get the Dockland Light Railway in to the city. The nearest station is right outside the back of the hotel. Outside the hotel are a couple of restaurants as well as the hotels lovely bar and restaurant plus the O2 arena is less than 10 mins away by Underground train. The standard rooms had no problems whatsoever and the beds are so soft and comfy you are sure of a good nights sleep! One thing to point out is that the hotel is so close to the Docklands Light Railway that it is worth requesting a room on the Quay side as they benefit from less noise (although not unbearable in the noiser rooms) and better views.
“Really Nice Hotel”
Really nice hotel with great transport links into centre of London and to 02 Arena. Room was a good size and in really good condition. We had room service on a couple of occasions and the food was great and the servise was quick. Breakfast in hotel was also really good. Only issue we had with this hotel, when we checked in we were asked for a credit card for security purposes(obviously this is normal procedure) but when we got home we realised that the hotel had charged the card 50 pounds with out informing us! When questioned we were advised that this 'was policy to take a security deposit!' (although this was not mentioned at any time and we did get it refunded.
“lovely hotel”
This is a lovely hotel, conveniently situated for Canary Wharf, and transport via DLR or Jubilee line. The area is pleasant, clean and well-tended, though quiet at weekends as its predominantly a business area. The hotel itself is excellent. Staff are pleasant and polite. Rooms, bathrooms and public areas are pleasant and comfortable.
“Great hotel and great location”
Stayed three nights in this hotel. the location is great, beautiful and quiet, lost of restaurants and coffee bars near by. Could not have been any more convenient for us, 5-10 minute to Bank station. Very professional and pleasant staff. Rooms clean and nice deco, public areas such as lifts, halls etc. very nice and modern . We would definitely use this hotel again for its convenience, great atmosphere, fantastic service and friendly and professional staff .
“Docklands - THE place to stay”
This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are fantastic, the bedding is brill. My wife is now on a campaign to get me to buy the same. Marriot are so proud of it they actually have a sales brochure! The location is great. If you don't know Docklands, try it. There are restaurants and bars galore, even supermarkets. All enclosed in some fantastic modern architecture. A photographer's dream. The DLR (light railway) and tube may be a bit interrupted due to the Olympic developments but we found Jubilee or DLR offered great access to the City and one cahnge for the West End. Abso-bally-lutely brilliant. PS And the breakfast is great too!
“wanna go back”
the hotel is very stylish and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are shops, restaurants, and bars close by for convenience, if you don't want to travel anywhere. My only issue is that I had to pay an extra £22 to just to watch general TV, and they did not have a radio or ipod facility, as the Marriott in Manhattan New York. Do be careful that DLR stop West India Quay rarely opens on the weekends so, you have to walk to Canary Wharf..... Never the less lovely hotel and will definitely use again.
