“Great little place in London.”
The room was in exceptional condition. It was clean and the bathroom just sparkled. The staff was very friendly and most helpful. I'll stay there again.
“Very pleasant hotel”
The hotel staff were very friendly and the overall cleanliness of the room and hotel was very good. The hotel was in a great location just two minutes from Kings Cross station. I will be staying there again!
“Real Comfort”
We stayed in the Comfort In prior to catching the Eurostar to Eurodisney. The staff were brilliant and couldn't have helped more if they had tried. Our room was a family room and had masses of room for the three of us - very clean with all the facilities that we required.
“Clean and convenient”
Found this hotel fine for short stay. Room clean and adequate for 2 adults and a child. Easy short walk from Kings Cross tube station and St Pancreas station few minutes further. Street quiet despite being so close to busy Grays Inn Road. Was pleasantly relieved with hotel as reading some of the reviews was a little worried as staying with child and mother and hoped it would be o.k. Room had been recently decorated and was light and bright. Breakfast was fine cereals, crossaints, fruit and rolls with toast if requested. Coffee was good. Room was small so just as well you could have eaten between 7-9.30.
“Gateway to the Continent”
A good start to a holiday abroad as St Pancras/Kings Cross and Eurostar are literally within a two minute walk from this hotel which is extremely clean and comfortable and is close to quite a number of eating establishments, which is good as it does not offer an evening meal.
“Good value for money”
Location, friendly personnel, comfortable beds and an adequate buffet breakfast make this hotel a good bargain. We were in London to do some research at the British Library and take in a couple of plays. We were five minutes from the library and a few stops on the Tube from the Theatre District. The staff of the hotel were unfailingly cheerful, courteous and helpful. In these London terrace hotels on should not expect spaciousness nor "gracious living". The twin room was not too small, but had only a single wardrobe and no drawer space, so one of us had to live from a suitcase. The en-suite bathroom (shower) was larger than the room would have suggested. The buffet breakfast offered a choice of three cereals, yoghourt, cling peaches, hard-boiled eggs, with coffee, tea, fruit juice, toast, and croissants. The number of tables was such that we never felt under pressure to hurry up. We would both use this hotel again.
“A good base”
The hotel was basic, but i wasn't expecting luxury and it was clean and comfortable. The room was a good size and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. The breakfast in the morning was a good continental breakfast with lots of choice and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
“family room great”
This hotel, located near Kings Cross Station, had great accomodation for our family of three. The breakfasts were good and service was great. Only caution is that the cold water tap in our room carried hot water - not a chance of a cold shower here!
“Value for money”
Excellent location - less than a 1 minute walk from the tube and train stations at Kings Cross. Exceptionally friendly and helpful hotel staff. Rooms on the small side and not the best quality of furniture or fixtures and fittings, BUT overall a fantastic budget hotel in London. The breakfast room was crowded (but then we were staying over a bank holiday weekend), and my husband did not enjoy the food, but I must not be as fussy as I found it quite satisfactory. If you're looking for luxury then this is not the place for you. However, if its a resonably priced central London budget hotel, then you could do a lot worse than stay here!
“Look no further for budget travellers!”
I have rated thsi hotel very highly. My wife and I were travelling to London for a training course she was attending on our own dollar as it were. I have travelled a great deal for work to London and the rest of the UK and made the decision long ago to not do anything less than 4 star because of the bad experiences I had accumulated in 3 star hotels. However, we were travelling at short notice and I bit the bullet on this one because of the convenient proximity to train and tube travel. It was so worth it. The rooms are small. But they are clean and well kept up. I know this because we had to do this trip twice in as many months. Altogether we have stayed five nights in this accommodation and the value is absolutely superb. We paid an average of £70 per night. In London. For ensuite. The bathrooms in both looked brand new. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful. When we went the second time, there was a problem with the heating. They moved us immediately without argument and were pleasant and welcoming on every single occasion. Downsides? No room service. Plain breakfast (but it was included in the price so how can anyone complain?). No view from the windows (yeah, but for £70 I was kind of expecting there'd be no glass in them!). I can find no fault at this price if I'm honest. Thoroughly recommend.
