The location wasn't central. Could walk to many places. Many restaurants and convenience stores around it. Walking in the Russell park close to it in the morning was enjoyable. The staff were very professional. The room was very clean and very quiet. I would definitely stay here again for my next trip.

Lovely decor and even numbered rooms face away from the street. Clean and cheerful rooms; decent English breakfast. Staff is neutral. Location is great - right by the British Museum and many tube stops to choose from. They could have 5 stars if they fixed the hot water situation. It was nearly impossible to get warm water to come out of the low pressure shower. It was either scalding hot - I burned myself twice. - or cold or back and forth between the two. A good shower is a key part of a good stay. I asked for someone to look at it. No change. I would stay again but for the shower difficulty.

The Bedford is Centrally located in London’s West End. Close to the Underground stations, shopping, nightlife, and pubs. Front desk is very helpful and friendly.

The only suggestion I would make to the hotel staff is to improve the soundproofing around the communicating doors between rooms. We were wakened at 4:30 one morning by the voice of our neighbour making a phone call, and ditto on another evening around midnight.

Property was very nice and very convenient in the heart of Bloomsbury with easy access to the tube and various buses. The only issue I had was that noise came through the adjoining door from the guests in the connected room. If it's possible to install some soundproofing to the two doors, that would be a good improvement. The breakfast was very good, although I would have appreciated some crusty bread or crusty rolls; the bread that was provided was only good for toast.

I had a comfortable room in a pleasant hotel. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. There are several excellent restaurants nearby. A fine location with good transportation options nearby.

The room looks bigger on the picture than it actually is. Room was stuffy when we arrived so we had to open all windows to make it better. Shower and sink were separate from toilet which is fine. However, tub is so big that door can open all the way. AND shower curtain was so short that after each shower, water spilled all over the floor since shower curtain was not long enough to stay inside the tub.

Good hotel, but problems with Hotels.com
When I arrived they could not track down my booking (via Hotels.com). I contacted Hotels.com, and after 25 minutes on the phone to them I was given a booking code, (another the hotel could not find) and told 'the hotel would honour my booking'. What does that even mean? Who was at fault I don't know but I got the nice single room I booked, and had a lovely stay. Great breakfast and wifi but Chromecast does not work on the TV. I reported it to reception but no joy, only a minor thing in grand scheme of things. Would stay again, but would I book via this site? Mmmm not so sure about that!

The hotel is older but nicely located within a reasonable walk to the tube, pubs, and restaurants. No shortage of hot water, so much so they have warning signs posted to caution you about how hot the water is. Room heating was a little spotty. Our room was o.k. but our daughter had a corner room that was frigid at times.

The location was perfect for what I needed to do and where I needed to go. Very clean and cozy with friendly staff. Will recommend.

Great location. Just 5 mins walk to Russell Sq underground. Hotel staff were amazing. Plenty of places to eat next to hotel. Will definitely be staying here again

This hotel was recently updated. A friend and I each had individual rooms for 8 nights. The location is superb with easy walks to museums, West End theaters parks and many great restaurants. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and had a beautiful park like view of a garden courtyard. All the amenities of a notch above hotel were there and the breakfast buffet provided a broad array of fresh and tasty options. To top it off, the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. There was one small thing that needed attention and it was remedied immediately. The manager, VeeJay, could not have been better if he worked at Claridges! The Bedford Hotel provided a great London accommodations experience.
