"We LOVED this Resort!."
Our first time visiting Kauai, we chose this Hotel based on online reviews. Every single staff member we encountered during our 8 days there made us feel extremely welcome, I honestly cannot say enough about the courtesy and helpfulness they treated us with. The room was perfect, bed was super comfortable, nice sized 46 inch H.D. television to watch at the end of our days. We had a 3rd floor room with a wonderful view of the ocean, sound included!. The food was delicious!, we dined in the restaurant and also ordered from the poolside grill. The pool's were super clean and refreshing to dive into!, beautifully landscaped!.

"The perfect get away destination."
Hotel and nearby Kalapaki Beach has something for everyone. 5 of us stayed here including 2 persons 50 , and 3 persons 20 and we all had a great time. This Marriott resort can be as relaxing or exciting as you want it to be. Plenty of activities, night life, shopping, restaurants. Concierge booked a luau, catamaran sailing/snorkel tour & river kayak excursion for us. Fitness center has latest equipment and is squeaky clean. Great business center and meeting rooms available for business travelers. Restaurant staff were attentive and very friendly and welcoming. They provided us with lots of information on local culture and places to see. One never has to leave the resort, it's that good.

"Great beachfront location & price"
Would definitely stay here again! Great central-island location-1 hours to the northern tip of the island and 45 minutes to the southern tip. Spent 6 nights, had 2 rooms. Rooms are about half-price of the Marriott Resort a few miles away. All beaches on Kauai are public, go there for the beach activities and save money by staying here. The rooms were very clean, beds were great. I think all rooms have a small balcony. Good pool with a fire-feature at night also a hot-tub. Nice pool area and great grassy & sandy beach area. The beach is not recommended for swimming and has lots of coral/rock...you'll need swim shoes but the view is beautiful, also there are no beach activities here but you will want to drive around the island to other beaches and snorkeling bays. The pool has bar-side services. A real plus, is an onsite Expedia Expert that can recommend and book all your island excursions - use them, save yourself time & money, they were great! Ate at the restaurant once, had a delicious meal. There is an ice machine (nice for packing your own lunches in a cooler) and laundry facilities at no charge. You won't be disappointed.

"Reasonably priced and very friendly staff!"
This hotel is very reasonably priced in comparison with others on Kauai. The hotel itself is a little run down, some paint missing here and there and furniture appears quite old and rugged looking, but if you're on a budget looking for somewhere decent to stay, this place is wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and we never had a problem once. We must have lost our room keys over 10 times and they never gave us an issue and were very helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi were wonderful to have and I loved the man made pond located steps away from the hotel out in the ocean on a nice beach. It allows for great snorkling opportunites with lots of fish to see and a great swimming spot free of waves and any others hazards. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely go back there.

"Extremely nice hotel."
Excellent room. Excellent service. Location to amenities was perfect. Our stay wasn't to explore an island that we already knew so where we were was important because we tend to just stay around the pool or room while vacationing in an area we already know well. Excellent place to stay.

"Upscale and comfortable."
Just returned from a nine-day-stay at the St. Regis, Princeville. The hotel is grand and very comfortable. Our room was tucked away in one corner of the property with us obstructed views of the ocean and Hanalea Bay. The bath was large and well-appointed. The only thing lacking were extra hooks to hand wet bathing suits. The way to the beach required two elevator rides and was quite time consuming. I wish there were stairs or an outdoor path to the beach and pool. Be warned that food at the hotel is ridiculously high priced, and the quality did not match the exorbitant cost. Cocktails were also very pricey, about $15.00 each, and the breakfast buffet, which offered the usual selections of fruit, eggs, omeletes, oatmeal, cereal, etc. was $38.00 a person. Ordering from the menu wasn't much better, and $30 breakfast, per person, was the norm. Staff was great, from the pool attendants to the bellman, they were friendly and offered great suggestions for snorkeling, restaurants and hikes.

"The one-bedroom villa was beyond comfortable."
We had everything we could possibly need: dishes, cutlery, a washer/dryer...everything. It was the most comfortable "hotel" I have ever stayed at. LOVED IT.
