It is hard to imagine there is any thing wrong with this Hotel. They worked really hard to make sure you have amazing time. The breakfast, the restaurants (specially the Indian restaurant), the room cleanliness, every things was amazing. It surely is a 5 Star Hotel.
Hotel was excellent - staff were really friendly - breakfast was a delight.
Swimming pool area is adequate - and again service excellent.
Room on 8th floor - fab view of bay, was well furnished, comfortable and kept very clean
Hotel very close to all sorts of tourist interests - shopping, dining, other hotel restaurants, taxis, stations, sailing etc.
Cash exchange from most Western currencies into Rupees - no problem.
I stayed here in Sept 2014 for a night with my fiancé. It was a very good experience. The room was of 5 start quality with every possible amenities available in the room, I was amazed to see everything in there. My fiancé loved it all :-) The morning breakfast was very good, right from Indian menu (On Demand) to continental menu were available.
The only disappointment was that, I used their Computer/Desktop with internet facility for my office work purpose, they charged me extra for that with per hour usage rate wherein the internet speed was very poor because of which it took me 1 hour for 15 mins of work! I think this kind of facility should be free of cost at such hotels!
Anyway, the overall experience was very good, I would definitely come to this place again when I visit Mumbai next.

This hotel is good enough but the location is very good. It is right on the water within a few minute walk of the Gateway to India. The staff was helpful. Be prepared to pay for Internet that expires after you log in one time so use it up at one time. Staff was very helpful, got me a driver for my 2 days in Mumbai.
Didn't have room ready when we arrived even though it was later in the evening. Wanted to change our hotel instead of this one we booked to one further out. Finally got a room which was too small for 3 people. They wanted just to put a mattress on the floor instead of an extra bed but we refused.
Colaba, situated at the southernmost tip of Mumbai, is one of the most exciting places in the city. Colaba Causeway is a tourist hub which runs parallel to the Gateway of India, which has always been a hot vacation destination. When in Colaba, visit the Prince of Wales Museum and the Regal Cinema, one of the few old movie theatres in service in the city of Mumbai. There are numerous shops and sidewalk stalls that deal in costume jewellery, t-shirts, low-priced leather goods, semi-precious stones, authentic Indian ware, as well as Kashmiri carpets and shawls. It's best to visit several shops while exploring all of the opportunities for a good deal and negotiating on price. The causeway is also lined with food kiosks, restaurants, and cafes. Leopold's Cafe & Bar and Cafe Mondegar are some the most famous restaurants in this area.
