We were in a Tesla and they had 2 chargers so we were ready to go the next day! They drive you through the narrow city streets straight to the hotel - that was an experience and a brilliant touch! "Located outside the castle walls but in a nice location near restaurants and cafes. It is a lovely old hotel but beware it has no elevator and a windy staircase. They did have someone to carry our luggage up and down. Unfortunately we left our backpack with our luggage in the room and the gentleman at the desk was not happy about that. So I guess that is not okay. It is a short walk up to the castle which is a must see. "

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
