The property was really nice. The beach and pool was my favorite. A lot of the staff did not speak English which made things a little difficult. The food was a hit or miss.

The property outside of the room was beautiful and well kept. The room itself was musty smelling. Brought moisture bags and 3 bags were full. We asked for 2 queen beds and got two double beds. The cleaning staff didn’t take dirty towels and bring clean towels unless we were there to ask them. The check-in put the wrong passport in for one of us and initially refused to change it as it would take too long. He then changed it after much persistence but still had the wrong birthday in there. The wait staff at the buffet was awesome. The staff at the steak house was not friendly.

it is ok for the price; entertainment could be better. I mean if I return to PC I would go to a different resort, but is is not bad we had awesome time at the beach. But rooms need improvement, mattress is very hard. Staff is sometimes rude at the coffee shop, gardens are well maintained, lobby is nice, buffet is good.

beach & pool its self is very nice and great views. The spa was also a good experience. Some staff were friendly, we ran into more attitude than welcoming staff. At the premium level we waited extended periods of time for everything, I left multiple times to not waste my day in the lobby. Our room was very warm, and we asked to have the fan speed or room looked at multiple times and nothing happened. We have a good time in the casino, Carey’s bar was the exact opposite. The bar tenders were rude & had zero patience if you struggle with Spanish. The food was moderate, plan on 2 hours per dinner reservation. If you are hungry or want a quicker meal stick with the buffet, which wasn’t much different than the restaurant food. At the end when I went to settle the bill I wasn’t told I’d be charged for a beach dinner, I was told premium can do this. They charged me $120 US. Overall it was a disappointing experience for the price tag and lack of a distinguished difference between the premium price we paid. If you only speak English you’ll struggle at this resort so I’d suggest a little prep prior

Fantastic vacation !! The only downside was making dinner reservations was IMPOSSIBLE. The buffet was amazing ! Everything fresh and something new every time. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating ! The beach was immaculate and gorgeous !! Tip the staff and they will take great care of you!!

I stayed in the Reserve section for two nights. Although the amount I was ultimately charged did not match the amount I was told at check-in, I still think the upgrade was worth it. Since it was my first visit and I do not speak Spanish, having conceirge available to guide me through daily activities and programs was very helpful. Most staff members were kind and helpful. The adult-only pool was clean, relaxing, and not crowded. I also visited the family pool, which was larger and also looked very nice. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated the calmer atmosphere. The food was good and there were plenty of options. As a vegetarian with mushroom and eggplant allergies, I still had enough variety. I enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Santé and dinner at Blue Agave. Blue Agave had a lovely atmosphere, but the service there was disappointing. My plates were cleared twice while I was still eating, simply because I was typing on my phone. I asked about dessert options and was told churros & vanilla ice cream fritters. I asked for vanilla ice cream with churros, and after about 5 min I was told they only had chocolate ice cream. I had been there only around 40 minutes, the restaurant was nearly empty, and I felt rushed and unwelcome when I had hoped to enjoy my last evening. My reservation included spa credit, but I was booked at Zel, so I couldnt use it. My personal concierge was great and arranged a jacuzzi bath both nights. I also enjoyed yoga, zumba, and bachata on the beach.
