Ko‘olauloa District Kid friendly Holidays

Room was okay- had a slight stitch. Guest services truly make you wait until 3:pm exactly (even if room is ready). I was also first to arrive and wait for a room. And after 7 guest ; I was last to receive a welcome juice and towel.

Only issue is that there aren’t enough lounge chairs around the pool.

We had a fantastic stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble and their hospitality made our holiday even more enjoyable. The rooms were always spotless, well-maintained and serviced to a very high standard. The entire hotel is clean, modern and clearly cared for, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The location is absolutely perfect. Right in the heart of Waikiki, it’s within easy walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants and everything you could want while visiting Honolulu. Being so centrally located made it easy to explore without needing transport. What really sets this hotel apart is its people. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and always greeted us with a smile. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with exceptional service. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish.

I recently stayed at Alohilani Resort and, while the location is excellent and the property has many appealing features, several issues negatively impacted my experience. First, the shower in our room leaked significantly into the bathroom, creating an inconvenience that should have been addressed before guest arrival. Second, the resort frequently hosted private events that restricted access to common areas and made it difficult to enjoy the pool, pool bar, and grill options. While I understand events are an important part of the business, guests should be informed in advance when amenities may be limited, especially when those amenities are a major reason for booking the property. Finally, I was disappointed by the level of customer service I received. During my interaction with Tamara regarding a late checkout request, the experience felt unfriendly and inconsistent. My partner’s request for a late checkout was initially denied, despite prior communication from hotel staff indicating flexibility. The request was only approved after I returned with a text message confirming the arrangement. Exceptional hospitality is built on consistency, clear communication, and making guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, these issues detracted from what could have been an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Staffs were the best out of all.

Beautiful hotel and kind staff! Beach and pool get super crowded, so make sure you get out there early to secure a spot.
