When I arrived to the resort i was able to upgrade my room for 3 of the 4 nights. On bight 4 i was transferred to the original room i booked which was the tripical superior. I did not like it. They do not give you wash cloths. They give you these disposable paper cloths. Horrible. The bath room smelled like a sewer because of the toilet. If you decide to stay in the tropical Superior rooms bring your own wash cloths and air fresheners for the room. I highly recommend you upgrade your room. Overall The Kontiki was an amazing experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food was great. I would most definitely book again
