Heart of England Beach Holidays

For being on the lower end price wise in London this hotel was excellent! Staff was so helpful and very kind at reception and the bar! It’s located perfectly with the Tower of London literally across the street and public transport is right there. Also if you you’re planning on getting Ubers/taxis this was the easiest/quickest stop for them to get to you!

My shower head was broken so had to hold it by hand to shower but other than that everything was great

You are a partner of Expedia, and as an Expedia partner, you are expected to comply with Expedia’s rules, policies, and guidelines. I requested a room upgrade, and you confirmed that an upgraded room is available, but you are asking me to pay an additional fee for it. My Expedia account specifically includes a free room upgrade when available. Since the upgraded room is clearly available, I should not be required to pay extra for an upgrade that is included as a benefit through Expedia. If you choose to partner with Expedia, you need to honor the benefits and policies that Expedia provides to its customers. You cannot simply disregard those terms when they are inconvenient. I expect you to honor my Expedia benefit and provide the available room upgrade at no additional charge. Please resolve this properly rather than asking me to pay for something I am entitled to receive.

Beware of booking the Superior Queen Room - there are several interior facing rooms at the property that don't look like the advertised photos online at all. The rooms are extremely small and overlook mechanical equipment so there's zero natural light. The bathrooms are also extremely small (about 40 sq. ft) and can only accomodate one adult at a time.

Very enjoyable stay!
