Loved the atmosphere and the amenities.

Everything about Barcelo Bavaro Resort was superb and extraordinary the only complaint I have is the algae issue it needs to be removed daily.

Acceptable hotel. Very friendly staff and very clean hotel. The food is not good. The ice cream shop offers a very bad ice cream. A lot of musty smell in the rooms and many areas of the hotel, especially the sport bar. There is a lot of fun and activities, there is very good attention.

The staff was great, the food, the pool and all the amenities were incredible. The only problem during our stay was that the AC was almost off in all restaurants and the sport bars and Game Room that made it hard to spend time there

The staff is wonderful. Look around and watch how hard everyone works to keep this place beautiful and clean. What a great staff and place.

It’s my third time and majestic and my boyfriends 1st time at the resort.

Great Hotel and Service, but Disappointing Beach The hotel itself was excellent. The property was well maintained, the staff provided outstanding service, and overall the resort experience was very enjoyable. The only downside was the beach. During my stay, there were massive amounts of seaweed washed up along the shore, which made the ocean unusable for the entire trip. While I understand this is a natural occurrence and not the hotel’s fault, I do feel guests should be advised upon arrival so expectations are clear. If the beach is not a priority for your visit, this resort is a wonderful choice. However, if ocean swimming is important, I recommend checking on seaweed conditions beforehand.

The staff is absolutely amazing! If you want a great server, Jenny Victor and Carlos are your go to servers. Entertainment, Kayla, Mini Cooper and Carlos are the best. Tons of things ti do at the resort. Our jacuzzi in room and at bldg 6 was broken. The food this time wasnt very good. After eating at Spice i got sick for 2 days. They cancelled the Dominican dinner due to low capacity but the shows were great

I really like the. Area of the property, and the quietness, however.The rooms needs upgrading. I find that staff needs better training across the the board, some staffs are friendliness across the board was not given. My family and I had all together. 5 rooms there and we were not conveniently located at all.The options in food was good ,however most of the staff needs customer service training 😀

The property and the staff were top notch. The Iberostar Grand (JOIA) is my absolute favorite MoBay resort.
