Staff was great, especially Monika at the front desk. However, the property is showing its age. The non-renovated rooms were worn out and in need of complete redo. We were first given such a room and switched to a slightly smaller renovated room, which was brighter and had hard wood floors and far better. However, the materials used (e.g. closet) were cheap and workmanship in the room was not great and will not last well. Having an espresso machine was a positive. We also dined at the Asian restaurant which was ok. Once upon a time the hotel restaurants were quite good.

I had an exceptional experience at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—every staff member, from reception to the restaurant team, was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. We were greeted by Khodarahm, he’s an absolute asset to the hotel, full of life and cheers you up! One of the touches I appreciated most was the hotel’s use of WhatsApp to check in on us throughout our stay; it made communication easy and made us feel truly looked after. Breakfast was another highlight. The selection was impressive, and the chefs went above and beyond by remembering exactly what we liked and having it ready each morning. It’s rare to receive that level of personalized attention. Our room was always cleaned to perfection, adding even more comfort to the stay. The location couldn’t be better—central, convenient, and close to many of Dubai’s top attractions. We hired a car to get around and the you can valet park your car here for free if you’re a guest and even the valet staff were brilliant. If you’re staying here, make sure to visit the viewing platform at the hotel. The view of Dubai’s skyline is absolutely stunning and not to be missed. I highly recommend Shangri-La Dubai to anyone considering a stay in the city. You will not regret it!

Review for Mr. Mohammed and grand millennium hotel. I recently had the pleasure of staying at grand millennium and I must say, my experience was truly fantastic! Upon checking in on 1st of December room number 2103.Mr. Mohammed, the night shift manager, went above and beyond to enhance my stay. He upgraded my room, ensuring I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. His exceptional service made a significant difference, and I genuinely appreciate all his help during my stay. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to thank him in person before I left, but I want him to know that he really made my vacation special. The hotel itself was beautiful, and every member of the staff provided outstanding customer service. Mr. Mohammed’s efforts particularly stood out, and I can't wait to return for another amazing stay. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
