The upgraded sea view room was spacious, great view of the beach and Bluewater Island/ Ain Dubai. There were no toiletries provided which was poor for a so called 5 star hotel. The lifts take forever, only three lifts in the entire hotel, expect long waits daily just to get up and down from your room. Pool area very dated, I would say the hotel is only a 3 star compared to other 5 stars ive stayed in within Dubai. I have experience of travelling here since the 2000s. The staff are very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good, evening meal was poor, limited choices usually roast chicken and beef stew not many other meat dishes, but more lentils and veggie options. This could be due to being out of the main season to be fair, but wont be coming back. Ok hotel, you pay for the location and views, just dont expect great variety of food, gym is great. You could get much better options for the same money. Good amount of supermarkets and food areas nearby as youre on the main JBR strip, well just across the road.

We spent an incredible 3 days at the Atlantis in February, returning to our favourite Dubai hotel on the Palm, before continuing our onward travels. We had been around 7 years prior and enjoyed the updated decor and restaurant menus. We booked the Imperial Club with half board and were upgraded upon checkin to a balcony room. The staff in the Imperial Club lounge were always attentive and remembered our drink orders each evening before we sat down. The quality of food, drinks and service were the best in Dubai and it remains our favourite club lounge. We needn’t bothered with half board! My 85 year old grandmother was with us and again, staff were so kind and always helped us. We’d be grateful if special thanks could please be shared to Jatin in the club lounge who organised champagne for us to celebrate my late grandad’s birthday (acknowledging the reason we had come away to Dubai). We really enjoyed the water park on multiple occasions - the buggy drivers were again so helpful in getting us around the site and the free water sports options were amazing, we especially enjoyed paddle boarding. The half board menus were a 3+ course meal and a drink was included this time around, which was brilliant compared to the past visit. The pool facilities were wonderful with much choice available and pretty much had the imperial club beach to ourselves. Everything was impeccably clean and even down to the security, we always had a great experience with the staff. We’ll be back again!
