The room was very nice. A couple of small things: 1- It would have been nice to know there was a flight of narrow stairs to get to room, 2- Bathroom sink is blocked by overhanging cabinets, toothbrushing very difficult, 3- bathroom door drifts open against the bed unless closed and then the bathroom is very hot.

Lovely stay

Lovely stay, the room was very clean and had coffee/tea facilities and a fridge. Water was hot and good pressure for a shower. Room was a little snug but it is fine for a night or two. 15 min walk to York and parking. Area seemed safe

Found this absolute gem of a place to stay in York, communication was brilliant, within walking distance of shops and eateries, room and facilities were amazing, great value for money and cannot recommend highly enough

Place and service was excellent and the owner helped us so much with check in and parking , only 1 issue with our stay the 10am check out wasn’t late enough think 11am would be a lot better for all clients . But nice place and had a great sleep very peaceful
