"We took japanese style bedroom but the futons were super thin so uncomfortable. The private onsen was a bit smelly making the experience less enjoyable. For the travel to reach the place, we struggle little to go by bus. For the positive, the staff was amazing and helpful, the breakfast has lot of varieties for everyone. The room was super clean, spacious and very beautiful. Spending time with dogs around was lovely... what an amazing concept hotel."

A full Japanese-style breakfast was beautifully presented with some alternatives also on offer - fruit, eggs, bacon etc. We visited in May when the hotel and Suwa generally were very quiet so we were able to enjoy the hotel facilitie - the modern reception area and onsen. Good size room with twin beds. Go for one with a lake view if possible."
