"Conveniently located outside Waikiki and recently renovated nicely, the Pagoda is good but not fancy. It’s a family hotel. Amenities fee includes a $5 pp served breakfast, WiFi, newspaper, etc. Extra parking fee, but not as much as other areas in Honolulu. Our room was remodeled, spacious, and attractively decorated. "I usually don’t leave reviews, but this stay was disappointing enough that I feel I should. The property was not well maintained at all. The room was very dirty, with worn and stained cushions, and even the toilet seat was broken and dirty curtains. The pool area and restaurant were also not clean — even under the tables looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned. One of the biggest issues was the balcony sliding door, which was extremely loud. We were woken up multiple times throughout the night by neighboring guests opening and closing theirs. After two days, we decided to cancel the rest of our stay and move to another hotel. This was very inconvenient and ended up costing us more money. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and I hope the management takes steps to improve the condition and cleanliness of the property."
