"I’ve stayed here a couple of times now - usually with my wee budgie. I stay in hotels weekly with work but nowhere comes close to Knoll. It’s very friendly here and it’s a very special place, full of character and history. The food has always been consistently good as has the service and cleanliness. Also super that they have a tiny golf course, tortoise and tennis courts which you can use and the outdoor pool is lovely in the summer "

"all staff superb, 100% staff satisfaction , hotel more a 3 star skimp and saving lets it down , the pool is so small it would be called a plunge pool in Europe, towels were the same size as our hand towels we have at home , room refurbished ,then an old bed let it down, food was excellent and if you just need a place to crash out then it will do"

"I was very impressed by all the staff in the hotel. Without being asked they helped with bags and opening doors etc. The food in the hotel was very good and not too expensive, even the wine was a reasonable price. Only down side was public transport. Buses very irregular and sometimes non existent. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay."
