"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. "Close to transportation and about 25min walk to Gamla Stan or 7 min train ride. Very quiet and safe. Room was a little small for 2 people. I would stay there again but would get a bigger room."

"The staff was incredibly kind and the room was very clean and bathroom was spacious. The bed did take up most of the room but that was okay for me! The sauna/cold plunge was amazing!"

"Absolutely lovely small hotel, with an elegant and comfortable bar and multiple common areas on every floor. Room are spacious and cozy. Location is perfect. Avoid 5th floor due to slopped ceiling over the bed and smaller windows. I hit my head at night pretty hard on the slope, but that was the only flaw. Breakfast is great. Would definitely stay here again (just on a lower floor :)."
