A lovely well equipped cottage within walking distance of the town and lake although up a rat here steep hill so a bit of a climb. Very handy for walking to Brant Fell. Our only, very minor complaint was that it lacked the personal touch including a welcome pack with information about the history of the cottage and area and things to do, where to eat etc. obviously all very accessible via google but would have been nice to have felt a bit more welcomed! We’ve stayed in similar places where lots of maps, guidebooks even walking sticks etc. were provided.
