"I liked my stay at this quaint B&B. The breakfasts were excellent & it had a nice pub-restaurant attached here locals (& their dogs hang) with good beers & ciders on tap. My room was very small but perfect for just me. Americans need to be mindful that it’s European standard in a quant older building. The bathroom had been updated, which was nice. My only complaint is the pillows were paper thin and even with one on top of another it barely equals a regular size pillow. This is something I would...

"Really lovely property, arrived late but loads of outside lighting so easy to find and feels safe. Room was perfect and bathroom had everything I needed. Breakfast at The Crown was also great, Only downside was noise from the main road with lorries unloading but maybe Im a light sleeper?? Would fully recommend "

"The staff were wonderful. The room was a good size and was welcoming. It was a continental breakfast, which suited us, as we were able to get what we wanted and take it to the room to eat. The dinner was delicious and there was plenty of it. Because the hotel is not staffed overnight, they asked if we wanted fresh milk and organised a little bottle for us. They also gave me a large bottle of water, as I had not had time to buy one."

"Lovely room with comfy beds, nice and quiet, lovely to hear the birds tweeting and lambs baaaaaing in the morning! Very tasty breakfast and welcoming hosts, and dog friendly! Good location, walking distance to 3 pubs, we also walked into Wells for the Saturday market which is well worth a visit. "
