Very welcoming and helpful owner. Great local pub for a family dinner with excellent food at a very reasonable price. Lovely home cooked breakfast and great local knowledge / directions. Would HIGHLY recommend.
Very friendly, helpful owner. (When another couple left without umbrellas, he rushed after them to lend them umbrellas for the day.) Made an excellent suggestion for a nearby (driving distance) restaurant for dinner. It's affiliated with the butcher shop next store; so the food was divine. Rooms were good sized, beds were comfortable -- what more could one ask?
