Very nice hotel situated just 15 mins walk from the main square. Really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were nicely furnished, and were kept spotlessly clean by the staff each day. The breakfast was excellent with fresh and tasty produce every day, and everything was replenished immediately. The gym was another great find with new techno gym equipment. All in all we had a fantastic stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, returning to the UK on 30th October. The hotel truly lives up to its five stars. Everything, from the room, the restaurant, the facilities are excellent - however there are two things which really stand out: firstly the staff - they are amazing. They will do anything to help and they do it with a genuine smile. This applies to the lovely gentleman who opens the front doors, to the reception staff, to the breakfast staff. Secondly, don't miss breakfast!!...

Fantastic location just off Piazza Maggiore, very friendly staff, comfortable room with amenities. Can't fault it really.

The attention and helpfulness of the staff. Very friendly, efficient and courteous. Everyone in the hotel "did their bit" including the staff who cleaned the rooms. Excellent! Would thoroughly recommend.

We have stayed here previously and always go back, its just a clean,comfortable hotel with great service. The staff are the best i have ever encountered in a hotel, definitely 5 star.

Had a wonderful stay here in single room- clean, ample storage space, safe, TV and minibar. Location is excellent- literally a minute from main piazza. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of savoury and sweet choices, Highly recommended!

I had a great stay for 4 nights in early December. I would really recommend the hotel and would love to stay again in future. Lovely room - spacious, comfortable, huge bed, and very grand. We overlooked the internal courtyard which was a bonus as it's quieter than the main street. Breakfast was delicious - a great all-you-can-eat buffet of croissants, jams, eggs, bacon, cheeses, meats, cereal, fruit, yoghurts, cakes, coffees, teas, juices, etc - and the staff were very friendly. Perfect hotel for our budget, staff wrre very friendly and helpful, location was great and walking distance to everywhere in Bologna and the rooftop terrace was an added bonus! Breakfast was also very good and the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend and would return if we're ever in Bologna again.

We had a one-night stay in I Portici. We arrived late in the afternoon and were greeted with a friendly and informative check in process. Our room was well appointed and we grabbed a quick pizza on the terrace before exploring the town quickly. We were lucky with the location of the hotel for both the train station and the town. Highlight of the stay was breakfast. By far the best buffet-style breakfast we have ever encountered.

Easy short walk straight from train station, in a lovely classic street. Super clean, super pleasant decor, very comfortable bed, perfect en suite, very good breakfast, all staff very helpful and Betti the lady doing evening reception a star - great English and extra helpful.

Desde el primer momento que escribí para consultar mis dudas, recibí una respuesta rápida, precisa y educada. Luca estuvo atento en todo momento y fue muy profesional, dándome consejos tanto de dónde comer como de qué visitar. Respecto a la habitación, todo fue genial: cama cómoda y un juego completo de toallas de varios tamaños. Un gran detalle el café gratis con dulces. La ubicación es simplemente perfecta, a 10 minutos andando de absolutamente todo. Si vuelvo a Bolonia, no dudaré en quedarme...

It was OK. The room was clearly renovated. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Some of them rather new in the business but NP. Some details in the renovation where not done, no problem for the comfort but they where noticeable. The manager should look with a bit more detailed eye. The parking for the car is on the road, when your lucky it is near the hotel otherwise somewhere in the neighborhood, but this only for car voyagers. In general all OK, going back shouldn't be a problem.

This was perfect for a short stay in Bologna. Well situated for sightseeing, restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment was well equipped,very clean and had excellent air conditioning which was very welcome given the extremely high temperatures during our visit. Contact with the office by phone was a little frustrating as they seemed to have difficulty establishing who we were and where we were staying.

Hotel in a very good central location, within walking distance of all Bologna's histocal centre attractions. Our attic type room was spacious,clean and fresh. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I forgot to pack an adaptor plug and was loaned one from reception with no questions asked. No more than an easy paced 10 min walk from Aerobus drop off and pick up stop in via dei Mille. Basic breakfast choices but more than enough unless you are a very fussy eater. No negative issues at all.
