"For the cost we paid we expected more. This is an older property that has gone through renovations, but it was mediocre. The "store" for snacks was practically empty and was selling dollar store cookies. Our room was musty and smelled like pets, even though we didn't have a pet with us. I understand they are pet friendly, but we figured we would get a room that was not designed for pets. Breakfast was available, but the eggs were watery, the sausage was sitting in grease, and the other options were very limited. We were only there for 1 night to catch a cruise ship the next morning, but we wasted $240 in reward cash and paid another $50 on something that should only have been half that price per night. We have stayed in La Quinta's for many years in many states, and this one we were not impressed with. "
