Not sure why the question is about Wareham as the BA is in Corfe Castle. Both villages have great history and beautiful stone buildings. Wareham doesn't have a castle though! There is the steam train service as well - but check operating times.

Good
Our stay was short, only 2 nights, so we didn't go into Wareham this time. However we have visited Wareham previously and like the town for it's shopping, cafes, walks and atmosphere.

Excellent
Well, Wareham is a town in the Isle of Purbeck; which is, well, a good area for it's natural history.
"We’ve stayed here numerous times, it’s our go to place to stay in Bournemouth. Value for money. The rooms are basic but clean and with free parking. It’s a leisurely 20 minute stroll to the main shopping centre/beach/gardens.
We finally got to use the pool on this visit! Was lovely to check out but still use the pool before we actually left. Thank you! "
"The room was fine. Pity about the floorboards of the room above creaking when anyone walked around. The bed was slightly too saggy, but everything else was fine. Breakfast was filling, but I would have preferred scrambled rather than fried eggs, and a changing menu. The pool/spa was nice but ageing, and it gets used to teach kids swimming at times, so may not be available. Still, it was good for the price and it's in a nice location."
"I enjoyed every summer Bournemouth for sumer holiday.
I usually stay in Cumberland Hotel.
I enjoyed pools outside and inside pool + sauna company Hotel Sutcliffe for free.
I really liked family and dog friendly Hotel.
"
"We were very happy and enjoyed our stay, we were made to feel very comfortable by the professional and friendly staff. Our rooms were spotless and so was all of the hotel. The food was excellent quality and very tasty. I'd definitely recommend The West Cliff."
"A wonderful location. Can hear the sea from a Seaview room. Staff are overworked but really helpful and pleasant. A wonderfully grand hotel from the olden days managing the 21st century. "
