"This location is terrific for getting into Washington DC to see all the touristy things. We also could walk to many restaurants and Trader Joe’s is only half mile away. Only issue was poor lighting in the unit including the light over the dining table which did not work the entirety of our stay. They couldn’t fix it. Dining in the dark. We also had to swap bulbs from various fixtures to get light over the door. The bathroom and bedroom have very dim lighting."

"Everything was great. My only suggestion is that - sadly the pastry nook is closed. There isnt an option for a coffee bar complimentary. I had to get coffee from the restaurant for my partner when he was sick- I bought two coffees so he would not have to make a trip and it was over $20 for a couple of coffees (I got one). I was like - this is kinda silly. And parking valet is the only option if not on the street parking and that is $65 a night. So it was wonderful but - it would be great if those little things were complimentary. The food was good at the restaurant. Not great but good. The best thing besides the view from our room - was the staff is very good. Everyone is VERY good. Maybe I could say - they are great. The lady who checked us in - the cleaning team- anyone I asked for anything - the doormen (doorpeople) - the people in the restaurant and bars. Very good staff. The hotel is a little "dated" but I hope it stays kinda retro because it is a historic hotel. I just hope they somehow do something even if they have to add $20 a night to the rooms - to have the valet parking be free and give the visitors a free coffee barn downstairs. My room only had one coffee cup and no milk so making coffee in the room did not work."
