"Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient. I got a private room in this hostel, but I'm sure a dorm room would've been fine. Free breakfast every morning and owner offers recommendations or engaging conversations about Portugal and Porto. They did my laundry for 10 euros too, which was great. "

"I loved this hotel although on first impression you may think its too far away from Porto and doesnt look very attractive from the outside its really whats inside that counts. "Affordable, clean, safe, close to highway exit. We used our rental car for transportation to downtown Porto which was approximately 25 minutes with traffic. Parking was readily available outside of the hotel. McDonalds within walking distance for a quick bite. Basic breakfast was part of our rate. Check-in process needs streamlined-it took too long. Staff were helpful and pleasant. "
